About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing NFP dedicated to supporting fathers, carers and their families as we all work to access brighter futures for the next generation. In this full-time position based in Sydney, you will play a pivotal role in driving the fundraising strategy and initiatives. Leveraging your expertise in fundraising, you will be instrumental in securing vital funds through new initiatives, programs and accessing grants.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to maximise revenue streams 
  • Identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations
  • Managing and coordinating fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage donors and supporters
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and community partners
  • Analysing fundraising data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Providing expert guidance and support in all aspects of fundraising and development

What we’re looking for

  • Significant experience in a senior fundraising role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies that deliver tangible results
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of donors and supporters
  • Strong analytical and data-driven skills to measure and optimise fundraising performance
  • Exceptional project management and campaign coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as marketing, communications, or business
